Coupling

At Metrade, we offer high-quality Forged Fitting Couplings designed to provide strong, leak-proof connections in piping systems across a wide range of industries. Forged Couplings are essential for joining two pieces of pipe together, allowing for smooth, continuous fluid or gas flow while ensuring a secure and robust seal. Whether you are dealing with high-pressure systems, corrosive environments, or temperature extremes, our forged couplings deliver long-lasting, dependable performance.
A Coupling is a pipe fitting used to connect two lengths of pipe, typically of the same size, by threading, welding, or using compression. Forged couplings are manufactured through the forging process, where heat and pressure are applied to shape the fitting, resulting in a high-strength, durable, and uniform connection.
These couplings are highly regarded for their ability to provide a strong, leak-proof seal that can withstand high-pressure, high-temperature, and corrosive conditions. They are available in various sizes, materials, and connection types, making them suitable for diverse applications.
The types of coupling we supply are –
1.Full Coupling:
A Full Coupling is a fitting that connects two pipes of the same size and is fully threaded or welded over the pipe’s exterior. This connection type is typically used in systems where two pipes need to be joined together to extend the piping or connect pipe sections without reducing flow.
2.Half Coupling:
A Half Coupling is used to connect a smaller pipe to a larger pipe. It is called a “half” coupling because it only covers half of the pipe’s circumference. Unlike full couplings, half couplings are typically welded onto the pipe. They are most commonly used when branching off from a larger pipeline to a smaller one.
